This plant is growing in a garden across the road from us.
I spied the "flower spear" from or patio & just had to investigate.
I will keep my eye on the spear to get a shot of the flowers.
Does anyone know the name of it ? :)
Hey Lois, I just posted a shot yesterday of one in my garden. It's an Agave Americana. The flower spear gets huge, like 8-10 foot high. Unfortunately, the main plant will die as the flower grows. But the flower will produce hundreds of pups that fall to the ground and grow in it's parents place.
