David & Billy, I thought I would do a collage of some of the photos of Darling Dill that Louise has shared with us all.
He was dearly loved & was quite a character. We feel your loss.
Enjoy! I know I have loved seeing every one of these.
I hope you all on 365 do too.
Oh Lois...........where are you?...I want to hug you! That's simply stunning...I'm touched beyond words! You were always Dill's greatest cheerleader this past summer, and you certainly know I spent nearly every day photographing him. I think he loved the camera, and I only wish that somehow, somewhere, he knows how much he's been loved in return. Thank you, dear friend, from the bottom of my heart. That was *above and beyond*!
Lois, that was such a special treat. Just the other day when Louise mentioned about going back, I thought to myself, I wonder how Dill is going to act, then just a day or so later she posted that sad news. This is great. thanks.
@gardengal@cindy@sarasdadandmom@melissapike@digitalrn - When I started this collage of Dill, I thought to myself, I think all his fans would like this, so went ahead with it. Thank you for your comments. I'm sure Dill knows he was loved & it was his time to go.
@Weezilou - The boys must be missing Dill so much. I hope they enjoy this collage. It was a pleasure to gather all these photos & let everyone remember them & Dill at his best - hug received! :)
Oh! Mum, this turned out so well... what a great tribute this collage is to darling Dill... who'd have thought a white cat like him would have so many fans and friends in a place like this?
I got a very poignant note from Billy, even before I sent him your tribute. You probably aren't surprised to know he and David know all about how you followed the pictures last summer and we feel the thread of friendship. I know they really feel Dill's loss, but then, you watch how deeply @mozette Lynda loves Little Miss Stevie, and we know the love of our pets knows no bounds. We feel embraced by your words and those of Lynda, too.
@mozette - yes Lyn I am glad you like it & yes who would have thought the passing of a white cat named Dill could effect so many people around the globe - wonderful hey!
@Weezilou - thank you Louise for your kind words & please thank David & Billy for sharing him with us all through your camera lens. I agree about Lynda's Stevie - our pets complete our lives with their endless giving.
I have to thank @allie912 for making sure I did not miss this...oh, how special...what a wonderful work of love this is. FAV for sure! Thank you for this gift you gave all of us!
I dropped back by again...I just love this! As we're in the throes of final packing to leave Tuesday, I still can't wrap my mind around Lunenburg without Dill... While there are photos to be had, I'm afraid they'll lack last summer's sparkle, if you know what I mean...
@Weezilou - I know what you mean, it must be hard thinking about Lunenburg without Dill, but I'm sure your photos will be special.
I look forward to seeing them, as I love that part of the world & would like to visit - thanks to you.
@loey5150@Weezilou Now this was a wonderful idea and such a lovely collage..a great tribute to our friend Dill..we all miss him and will be thinking of him especially when Louise starts bringing us such lovely photos of Lunenburg this year..
