Last night my sister Helen & I attended the preview of the stage show - "Rock of Ages". She had received an Invitation a week or so ago.
It was held in the Cascade Court of QPAC at SouthBank.
We decided to go by public transport, something we rarely use & really enjoyed the trip in by bus.
On entry we were given a sample bag & a drink, which of course we were excited to receive. (They also gave us little battery lighters which we would use during the show to light up the audience).
This was followed by some wonderful food - heaps of it, which was good because it was held outside & we were quite hungry.
The director of the Australian show spoke about the actors & how they were selected etc.
After that the two lead singers of the Australian show, treated us to a preview by singing for us.
We thoroughly enjoyed it - the music from the show is all 80's.
Afterwards they mingled with the crowd.

They were also gracious enough to sign the programme.
We think we will go to the show when it comes to Brisbane later in the year.
Helen & I returned home by bus calling into a McCafe for coffee before heading home.
We don't often go out together, so we really enjoyed our evening.
That sounds really cool.
