On Tuesday I received a phone call from relatives of our friends in Kelowna, BC to say that they were here in Brisbane & were given our phone number to contact us.
We made arrangements to meet with them today & show them a few sights of Brisbane.
After taking them for morning tea coffee to Oxford St Bulimba, we took them up to Mt Cootha, the highest lookout in Brisbane.
It was a fine windy day & the view was wonderful.
We finished the afternoon off by having lunch at Easts Leagues Club.
A lovely day spent with nice people.

We will take them on a couple of longer trips in the near future.
I like the unexpected sometimes, you never know what the day brings. :)
