Today has been a very wet day.
Brisbane has received record rainfall in the past 24 hours & it looks like this torrential rain will be with us until the weekend.
I had to pick up a spare part today, & I was loathe to get our of my car as it was teeming.
As I sat there contemplating getting wet, I took this shot of the sign outside the shop.
Hang in there! I hope the torrential rain doesn't cause any serious flooding. I don't blame you for not wanting to get out of the car. Neat effect with the rain on the windshield.
It has been really bad today... and for the last few. When I opened up this morning, I went out the back yard and found my rain gauge was overflowing... the highest reading is 160ml!... so we have received a lot more rain overnight that I couldn't account for! So, I emptied it and pushed it back into the ground.
