Meet Tracy & Jana

Today we went to Tauranga Bay to see the Seal Colony there. However, as the rain was blowing horizontal & it was 9 deg, we decided against walking the track to see them.
We can across these 2 girls, who were very cold & wet. They had cycled 12 klm in the rain, then walked for 1 1/2 hours to see the seals. They had been told the walk was only 1/4 of an hour. We took them back to their bikes, then decided to take them back to their Hostel as it was getting dark. They were so thankful, and we felt better that they were safe & sound, even if cold & wet. I like to think that someone would have done the same thing for my daughter or son.
Lovely of you to look after them Lois. I think their Mums would be very grateful too if they knew.

Good of you to take care of them... with the weather the way it was, I think it would have added time on.
