The Crepe Myrtle close to the pool

The Crepe Myrtle close to the pool drops buds and blooms on the waterfall and into the pool all summer. Jerry threatens every year to have our yard guy remove it because it’s such a pain to clean up after it. So far it’s made it through this year. 😊
Ooh , but it looks so pretty !

Beautiful close-up details of the blooms. I imagine that provides a certain amount of shade too so it would be a shame to let him cut it down!

This looks like something from outer space Lou Ann…..the surface of the moon or a more exotic planet perhaps! It’s so pretty!

Fine line as to what to do, our frangipani does the same thing, although the gum trees in the park next door make a worse mess for us. It is a pretty bloom and you will miss it if you do get rid of it.,

I'm glad it's managed to stay around! It sure leaves a pretty offering.

Great shot of the blossoms. They are pretty trees--but I don't have to clean your pool!

What a pretty photo! But I fully understand Jerry! We decided to leave the crepe myrtle, but take the pool out in Houston....
(I must be honest that taking the pool out had other reasons too)
