At the Y last week I took this photo of these five petal roses and a lady said the bush had full, many petals red roses for many years. I’ve always heard that if they live long enough they revert back to the original stock (that the red rose was grafted on).
Interesting. Do the bushes get cut back? I lost a rose bush in a hurricane. Had to cut it way back. The Extension office didn’t know what would grow! But the grafted rose came back healthy.
