Barcelona! by louannwarren

Barcelona!

Barceloneta Beach on the Mediterranean - the W hotel, Frank Gehry's steel "Fish", sunbathers and strolling accordionists. Barcelona is spectacular, if you go make sure you plan a day to enjoy the beach!
Welcome to 365, Lou Ann! Your Barcelona photos caught my eye on the "Latest" page and then I had to smile when I read that you are a native Texan . . . I'm a native Texan also! I started my 365 project in November, 2015 but I've taken several month-long breaks so as of today I'm on photo 311. I absolutely love wildlife and macro photography but this month I'm pushing myself outside my comfort zone and working on street (people) photography. I'm looking forward to following your project! :-)

@gaylewood, a co-conspirator, yay! I am really enjoying this site, I have so much to learn, but all I have is time, I'm retired. Smile. @milaniet Barcelona is such a great city, so worth a visit.

@olivetreeann I wished we had time to follow those guys and watch them perform. We were on the hop on hop off buses tour and had to move along. @phil_sandford Thank you so much, I am learning from this site every day and certainly having fun.

We adored Barcelona, and Spain, actually has become one of our favorite European countries! We were there only a few days before leaving on a cruise, but we do want to return. We didn't get to the beach, but then we live on the California coast, so that wasn't a "must do"!

@Weezilou The Med seemed calmer and gentler than the Pacific, and certainly warmer. But of course there's so much more to Barcelona than the Med. It's a great world class city!
