"Trees" by louannwarren

"Trees"

I have collected poem pictures for at least 40 years. Particularly Buzza "Motto Pictures". This is Joyce Kilmer's 1914 poem "Trees", printed by Buzza and framed in the early 1900's. This one outlasted it's frame. Because it is an important poem I purchased it "as is" with the intent of framing it myself, good intentions, smile. The February Word for today is "poetry".
Beautiful, it does deserve a frame.

Definitely worth framing to keep its value. It's wonderfully art deco!

@olivetreeann There are metallic gold touches in it and the tree trunk is gold as well. I will frame it soon!

Beautiful poem. One of my favorites, in fact. I love Buzzas.

I'm surprised at myself that I was not familiar with the Buzza collection, as certainly the art style hails from that beautiful Rycraft period. What a worth collection to gather around you when it's something you love and enjoy! If someday you find yourself at a loss as to what to photograph, bring us another!
