Our sweet friend Lori started the Green Egg tradition quite a few years ago, she brought it to us with a lovely bottle of wine inside. We have taken turns since, it has hidddn crystal rose bowls, chocolate covered strawberries, clothes and more. This year it was our turn and was filled with clothes and candy for Lori, I was thrilled to find the curly tissue egg "hair" at the Hallmark store. When we left the restaurant where we had lunch the wind was blowing and I knew we had to get a "wind in the egg hair" shot! It's been a sweet tradition and fun every year!
That sounds like such a wonderful tradition! This is a fantastic photo of the two of you, Lou Ann! I can tell from those big smiles that you have a lot of fun together! :-)
@cindymc@happysnaps@littleconnie Thank you for your sweet comments, it is a fun little celebration every Easter. @gaylewood You would love Lori, she's so much fun! @gigiflower Why thank you, do you especially like the yucca bloom sprouting out of the back of my head?
@gigiflower At my very first photo class a long time ago the instructor said "always check the background", clearly my husband didn't take that class. The fun time makes up for the yucca!
What an adorable photo of you and Lori, and is there anything nicer than having a good friend with whom you share years of tradition?! The smiles on your faces speak to me of a lot of shared laughter during your brunch together! Absolutely dear, LouAnn!
