The peace lily cross by louannwarren

The peace lily cross

This cross was shiny bright tin with ceramic peace lily tiles 20 years ago. It hangs by the trellis on the old work shed wall and I have to say the tin rusted perfectly. It's a much prettier wall ornament now. Happy Easter, 365 friends!
. A wonderful Easter Cross so beautiful against the white wall a very happy Easter LuAnn

It is a beautiful cross. I agree any ornaments always look nicer with age don't they, age just adds to their character.

@beryl @ziggy77 @kwind @claudiet @gaylewood @henrir @happysnaps @alijchapman @onewing @bkbinthecity @littleconnie @nicolecampbell Thank you so much for your wonderful comments, I am sure the tin will rust through one of these days, but for now it's holding together. @gaylewood I bought it at San Antonia's Embarcadera at least 20 years ago. It's held up very well considering it's been outside that entire time!

Beautiful! Hope your day was as lovely as the garden the cross hangs in!

Just Beautiful! Now THAT's Mexican art I would have purchased yesterday! No ceramic skulls for me, but this is just beautiful! And I do so agree, the rusting that takes place keeps making pieces look better and better! I have an owl hanging out in the yard that has improved over time!

@olivetreeann Thank you, we had a lovely day. @Weezilou Your Olvera Street 365 foray looked like it would have been the perfect place to find these ceramic tile and tin pieces!

@louannwarren It certainly should have been! In spite of what Ron said, I really wasn't there to shop so didn't dig deep enough, perhaps!
