Cadence and Claire’s “play dress up” costume jewelry
It has been at least 10 years since granddaughters Cadence and Claire have played dress up with these glittery jewels. They are in a crystal box on the guest room’s dresser. My mother had a huge fetish for costume jewelry and many of her necklaces and brooches and earrings are in the box, along with a lot of jewelry I no longer wear. I just can’t bring myself to part with this little treasure trove. So far I only have great grandsons, I’m hopeful there will be a little great granddaughter who will love to play dress up!
Love how you filled the frame with these glittery jewels! Wonderful narrative...brought back memories of when I used to dress up using my mother's old jewelry. :-)
Wonderful family memento and if you put these on eBay .... oh my! My neighbor collects and sells costume jewelry. It's a fun hobby for her but I am always amazed at what sells and what doesn't:)
I have a bag of costume jewelry that was my aunt's and don't know what to do with it. I'll never wear it, and my granddaughters are not dress-up girls. I guess I'll keep my ears open for a theater company that could use them in their costume department. This is a fun shot- and by the way- would also make a great texture shot for black and white!
