Another hot and windy day! Too windy to take photos!
My latest bone density test showed some osteoporosis. I’m not crazy about taking drugs (much to my dr.’s dismay) so I’m trying a weighted vest that I’ve read will build bone...There are 16 1/2 lb weights (8 lbs total weight) that I‘ll slowly add to pockets surrounding the vest. Starting today with half that weight!
They look like little stars on the tips. I know how you feel about the drugs - my doctor has been after me for 8 years now about the osteoporosis - finally gave in this past winter and took the once a year shot - I had tried everything non-drug that I knew and things were still getting worse. Guess we'll know in another year when I take the bone density test again if it's done any good. So far, no side effects at least.
Such a pretty little flower - new to me !! Hope the weights will help with your condition - I do take a weekly prescribed tablet of calcium and vit unfortunately my bone density scan was cancelled due to the coronovirus !
I too have the beginnings osteoporosis and am not taking drugs at the moment. I have other health issues and osteoporosis drugs will cause other problems. My sister has been treated for osteoporosis for about 5 years and her bone density hasn't improved.

Congrats to you, going the drug-free route for starters. I wish you success with the added weights.
