a little something from a morning walk to the Greenspace North Park in Glen Carbon, IL These purple flowers were attracting lots of butterflies, but they wouldn't tolerate me getting anyplace close. So I took it a different direction.

beautiful, looks like thistle blooms ... I tried to get a bumble bee on one of these today, not much else blooming around here
