Fixer-Upper

Seems like I've been posting a lot of old/worn buildings lately... (both here and at my blogs) And there's more to come.

This one is along Rt. 3 on the north side of East St. Louis. And, as you can see in the window, it is for sale!

You wonder what sort of stories a place like this could tell. I wonder why the window to the right was altered. Rather sad.

This place would make a great little store. The thistles growing in front, and bars on the window adds a great mood to this image. Great find.

What offers? Keep the old decaying buildings coming! I love the foreground thistles in this shot. It adds to the sense of neglect.
