Upper Mississippi Waterfowl Area

The river levels have been slowly dropping for weeks, just went below flood stage in the past few days. This is from West Alton, MO, looking across one of the "pool" areas to the river. Looking north towards Grafton, IL (15 miles up the Great River Road).


Less than a weeks ago, this area was under water.
My 7/23 post was from just a couple hundred yards to the right of here.
