This is another shot I have been waiting for blue skies for. Didn't get that today but thought this turned out kind of interesting. To get the DOF that I wanted didn't give me the bokeh I was looking for. So I quickly snapped this shot before the rain started. I did a curves adjustment to lose all detail at the dark end and get the solid black background. It didn't generate as much noise as I expected and really made the bud stand out.
