Interesting. Around here the babies seem to have more red colour in their fur, especially noticeable in the tails, which seem almost red fox colour but your guy looks to have more red in the body fur and more grey tones in his tail.
@gardencat I don't know why they have so much red, they are grey squirrels. They seem to get more red in the summer and fall and then start turning more gray and white during the winter.
