in these stainless steel containers in a part of the wine cellar at Hidden Valley. As there were too many people in the restaurant, I decided on this lovely scene. It was difficult to straighten, I tried aligning the ceiling, but that looked crooked. On the left are some of the guests seen through the glass panes.
All that glorious wine.......
I think it is hard to straighten because you are not central to the walkway. Take it a foot or so to your left and it wouldn't be an issue.
It's a great shot showing us the business area of the winery - and the fun area in the background. I liked Casablanca's suggestion re the straightening. It's so annoying when this happens. Do you have a vertical and horizontal distort ability on your editing program - I find you can often fix it by playing with them one after the other. :)
Beautiful shoot and modern stainless steel equipment. Most of the wineries I have visited have wooden barrels as big and even bigger than these; but the wineries have been there longer, probably much longer, than these. I guess wineries in Europe have been producing wines much earlier than those in your country.
It's so shiny! Yes, I think the straightening is hard because you're not taking the picture in the center of the walkway but I think it could be accomplished by using the vertical straightener rather than the horizontal one. However, you got pretty close. You would enjoy some of the wineries around here- they've come up with some rather innovative ways to store the wine while it ages. Good shot!
@casablanca@robz@pdulis@craftymeg@olivetreeann The problem was that It is all behind glass. I could not get closer the the walkway and was on at least one meter higher, looking down. I tried some tools, but then something else was crooked. The warp tool might help, but I have never tried it. I will give it a go ;-)
@sangwann@santina@milaniet@bruni They also have a huge cellar where all the vats are imported oak from France. Only the white wines are in these containers :-)
