under Dad's feathers. Too cute the way the little chicks quickly gets underneath and feels safe. If you look closely, the little face is peeping out on the left.

Aaawww how cute. In Romanian, there is a phrase that goes like: to hide behind mom's skirt (literal translation). The meaning would be: avoid taking responsibility.
It came to my mind in the literal sense.

@shutterbug49 @taffy I was watching the chick run to Dad and scramble underneath. There are usually Pied Crows flying around, they take the chicks. They always do it, even when it gets too hot in the sun, Dad offers shade :-)
