and sitting very still, albeit not very long when they do not spot a fish.
There are four different perches on different locations, all within a few meters of the hide. One's eyes are moving from perch to perch to see if a bird has landed on one, sometimes the action is even missed.
Such an interesting looking bird. I've not seen one of these before, although it has a slight resemblance to our Kookaburra (mostly it's head & beak...not his colours or markings, it is very different in that regard). A lovely capture
