Minky's Mouse by ludwigsdiana

Minky's Mouse

she brought this poor little field mouse into our bedroom to play with. The mouse jumped on the drapes and climbed up quite a stretch. Of course Minky tried to get it, but it was too difficult. Fortunately I saw this and was able to rescue the poor little thing. I locked Minky in the room and freed the mouse outside Obviously I needed a photo first ;-)
But of course! Photography 1st, then free the mouse.

Such a fabulous photo of his terrified little creature. He has such interesting markings. I’m impressed that he sat still long enough for you to get this terrific shot. You’re such a good person to have released him!

What you saw was a great opportunity for a super detailed shot! He'd gotten himself in a safe spot do no problems.

@koalagardens Yes it is, they are all over the place. Fortunately Minky lets us take it away from her, she then gets a sweety ;-)
@ellida It just looks that way as it is lying over a hump in the rescue cloth, the tail was fine :-)

Olive brings in little mice and shrews and then enjoys watching me catch them. She totally loses interest once delivered and will let her gifts run around close to her without batting an eyelid!!!
