Some kind of bird. by maggie2

Some kind of bird.

I have no clue what type this is. A parrot of some sort. This bird was at the entrance to a business meeting. I'm not sure why, but I took advantage for a picture.
Cool pic, nice color

I wish my business meetings had that kind of greeter! I like that the black and white background dividing line is in line with the perch holder. I so often forget to pay attention to composition. This photo turned out great!

It's not any old bird - this one looks like you have caught him mid-conversation, which brings it alive, as does the colour!

I'm not sure either--maybe a mutation or sub-species? I like the bright yellows--he looks like he's telling you all about something!

Lovely shot of a beautiful parakeet. It comes from Brazil, I believe. We have many parrots and cockatoos here but not this one. Love to see something different. Saw this on the popular page.

This is a beautiful 'queen of baveria' or 'golden conure' it's a relative of the little yellow sun conure in my profile pic. It is a very very rare bird, I have only seen one b4 and that was at the San dieago zoo. Great capture!
