Very beautiful, this is called chihully made by artist Dale Chihully. There is a big exhibit of this glass at Fred Meyers Gardens in grand Rapids Michigan until the end of October.
@sarasdadandmom Ha Ha Saras dad. It is the first thing I thought of too. Then I thought of what a great picture it might be, then how beautiful it is. That's my priorities. @marileed I would love to see more of his work, but I'm not near Michigan.
@katrinacristy@robv@ladydi@godsgirl Katrina, I would love to see other pieces of his, and thank you.
Robert, I'd be afraid of the earthquakes. Thanks for the kind words.
Diana and Danielle, thanks for the kind comments.
I was going to ask if this was Chihuly but I see it's already been said. Dale Chihuly is absolutely amazing. Some of his stuff is on display around Nashville right now and I've had the chance to see the installation at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. My favorites are the pieces like this hanging in the museum that we can't photograph and the Moon and Sun pieces. I would give anything to own something he's done.
Oh, I was going to ask the same thing. I love Chihuly's glass. I've seen an exhibit at a Conservatory - and some of it in various places, like Bellagio's lobby ceiling.
@pfmandeville and everyone obsessed with dust: Firehose? ;o)
Margaret what an amazing shot, such life in this piece. I think it qualifies as spooky! Great shot.
@halcyon49 Yes, I think a firehose may work. :-) @bugik@laceyjogautreau Can you imagine the noise if that broke? Thanks for the comments guys. I appreciate them.
