Maggie, do you have the midwinter blues yet? I did a week ago but now that I have started on the birds I have been able to shake it. with a bit of sunshine I have loved being out in the cold winter again. You took a beautiful photo of that huge pile of snow. And, thank you for the reference to me with your birdie. I am touched. You are a kind person.
@timandelke@fluffy@specky@jenlyn999@emer Thank you all for the kind words. I do appreciate them. @geertje The sun is shining bright today. Perfect blue sky. Only snow falling is what is falling from the trees. Only day this week that we aren't supposed to have snow. Thank you for the kind words. @oselleso Thank you Oselleso. I really enjoy nature and animals. I think I need to work on some other type of photos. I'll get there. @pfmandeville Not until around April here. Luckily...I enjoy the snow. @pacole Phillip thank you for the kind words. We have snow, snow and more snow. @wac Wendy, I don't usually get a little cabin fever until March. So far I'm enjoying getting out and freezing my fingers taking pictures. I'm glad taking bird shots helped you. Changing your point of interest and doing new things always helps. Thanks for the very kind words. :-) @ladydi I'm not bothered by the cold...or I wasn't until this morning when the temperature was 10 below 0 Far. Thank you for your kind words. @swrws@girlie@barbara@kerristephens@cfitzgerald@digitalrn@rebeccab Thank everyone for the kind words. @musikinsey Sally, I do enjoy the snow. Thanks for the kind words. @robv Robert, doesn't it figure that was the only time I had to drive yesterday. I got home and it eased. Well, I survived it.
We are on the same wave length often with shots. I have some like the pine needles in my files. Too bad we live far apart or I could see us taking photo trips to zoos, nature areas, etc. Loads of fun. I have a question. You have a Canon Rebel but I don't think you have used it for 365 - at least not lately. I was just wondering why not?
@babybrat Dawn, I'm in Central New York. Thank you for the kind words @wac I often shoot with my Canon Powershot because of the convenience. I like closeups and I like to wander around the woods, or wherever. This camera I can tuck inside my coat and not worry about the weather. It has a zoom feature and I don't have to change lens. Other reason, I often go with my hubby picture taking and he uses the Canon Rebel.
We are on the same wave length and would have a great time shooting together :-)
I looked at the new version of your camera when my friend and I looked at cameras for her. If I wanted to buy a P&S for myself that would be the one. I really liked it and can see why you enjoy using it.
@bugik@jonna@miranda@pyrrhula@aipassa@becksesme Thanks everyone for the kind words
. @bluemoon Paula , thank you for the kind words. I'm not tired of the snow yet. Luckily I love it or I would be in trouble. @barrymikhal LOL I love the snow or I would be in trouble. @wac Wendy, It is a good camera. I'm pretty happy with it. I love canons. I have always had good luck with them.
Great shot.
