Redtail hawk.
photo 582
This is a hawk in the zoo. He has a wing problem and has been at the zoo for years. He's a good ambassador. I do wish he could fly away.

I love photography and painting. I'm not great at either, but I'm learning and enjoy both. Any type of art...

He reminds me of the eagle that I got a photo of recently at the zoo ... had a wing problem too. But a FABULOUS capture here. Beautiful close-up!

Great portrait of this lovely bird; poor boy, he should be out in the wild blue yonder, as you say.

Wonderful clarity, he's such a beauty. Sigh, I just saw 2 a couple of days ago, in a cage too small for them. Really wished I could release them. But then I would be caged up for doing that.

I sure wish they could all fly away too! But it is nice that because they cant, there is somewhere safe for them to be ;)
