A picture showing myself in the process of learning how to use this program. I am trying to read my Mother's diary of 1929 which is seen here on the left and dictate it into the Word Document. Apart from some odd words it comes up with, it's pretty good and I can actually talk quite fast.
I have to shut the microphone off when something else happens like the phone or it busily types everything it hears, into the document!
I would LOVE to have one of these!! I wondered if it would pick up everything you say- now I know! And I love seeing your mother's diary there- wow- look at all the writing! You are so dedicated. I hope the Dragon really helps you with this project.
@asutherland1964 you have to have the two disks to start off with. Then establish a profile where the app learns your particular voice. Other things too - heaps of commands but I'm still learning!
Wow, how cool. . .I've heard the commercials on television about this program! It will be interesting to see how you like it as you become more comfortable using it!
Fantastic capture. That is an awesome idea and must be so much help for your project. I viewed this large and your Mother had such beautiful handwriting. It looks so delicate.
Cool shot. I am learning to use that to text on my phone to my DIL. Good for us to be so technologically advanced! I'm glad that you have caught all that without all the typing.
Maggiemae, you do make me laugh. I am imagining me stopping dictating to to tell my children off for fighting or something and it all being typed up. Hope you are a good proof reader!
