Sunrise here this morning was beautiful but the sun was up so I had to shield the camera from that fierce glare on the right.
Tomorrow we go up north to visit a very elderly sister in hospital who has compression fractures to her spine and in pain. Unfortunately, at her age of 92, they won't heal. The other sister and her husband are in a resthome, one with a stroke, and the other with dementia. We will bring lots of good will and cheerfulness, we hope!
What a glorious sunrise -so beautifully captured & frame . May you have a safe journey tomorrow and you will be able to spread a little happiness to the sister at this great age and also to the other sister & husband .
Gorgeous sunrise shot. Wishing you a good trip. My mother has Alzheimer's. Few people visit her because she does not speak much. However, I know she welcomes visits from people.
Beautiful picture. The clouds look like a mirror image of the landscape. I hope your trip goes well, they with love to see you even though it will be hard for you... x
How beautiful that sky is ...absolutely gorgeous colors! So sorry to hear about your sisters ... I'm sure that you'll bring lots of good cheer to them. They must look forward to the visits so much!
Incredible shot! I just love that sun shining in! :) Makes me smile :) Saying a prayer for the sister. Poor lady. I know you will cheer up her spirits :)
@kbalychev3 thanks Kimberly! I'm in the departure lounge now contemplating taking a picture of everyone on their computers, or mobiles! What happened to reading the paper!
a beautiful new day indeed. love the silhouetted edge. I am so sorry to hear of your sister's ailments. i know you will be a welcome sight. I hope you are able to bring many smiles and laughter despite the circumstances. Looking forward to your Auckland photos :)
Great colourful scenery! I like your work. It is difficult to care for elderly people. I live with my mum who's 87 and try to help her as possible as I can.
