There is a lovely walking track round the lake here and Mr Man is trying it out while Yolanda is waving at this stag entering the scene!
We stayed her some years ago and loved the Lake and the Lodge - I went walking but was told the stags were quite agressive so when I saw one up ahead, I turned tail and went back to the Lodge
Oh, Maggiemae, Jasper is one of my favorite places (along with Banff) in ALL OF CANADA. We have been there a few times and I took Allan there for his birthday a couple of years ago. Great capture. Hope they are having a fabulous time--they just need to travel East.
Great image!! I loved Jasper when I visited a few years ago and Banff - I would love to return!! The colour of the lakes is just like your photo. I always thought the photos were false until i actually saw them for my self!!
I don't think Yolanda is warning Mr Man that there is a large stag behind him....I hope there is no trouble!!! Looks a lovely spot & they are very lucky to be staying in this fab spot!!!
I was just thinking about Mr. Man and wondering what he and Yolanda are up to. Now I know. I think stags are only dangerous in mating season, but if I saw one with antlers the size of those, I'd head in the other direction too.
