Sunrise this morning was very pretty seen from my kitchen window.
Three good things:
1/- Quite a few cats have been adopted at the SPCA headquarters where I volunteer on Thursdays including little Ozzie, a feisty little ginger kitten. He was a fighter too and took on anyone, - jumped on "King" black cat Jag who swiped at him impatiently. Ozzie yelped then decided to attack sweet little Geoge who fought back valiantly but Ozzie was winning until I picked him up by the scruff of the neck!
2/- I took my ukelele in to get a shoulder strap put on and it only cost $7! Big concert Friday night - "Oamaru on Fire" We are one of the many performers.
3/- Made a lovely fried rice dish with leftover rice, ham, eggs, mushrooms and vegies.
This is a perfectly beautiful sky...how come you have nicer skies than us & it's supposed to be summer here!! Someone has taken on a bit of a character with Ozzie!!!
I tried to learn to play the uke when I was a kid...we had lessons on them in Music class at school so my mom bought me my own. It was hard. that is cool that you play! Nice sunrise shot!
@ccb You know, Ceebee, I never thought of that - this is a fairly elaborate wine glass with lots of colour so wouldn't use it for wine. But with above comments - it seems to suit the sunset more than the sunrise and with the glass of wine!
i really enjoyed the story of the cats.
would also enjoy hearing you play the ukelele.
