Li'l 'ole Oamaru by maggiemae

Li'l 'ole Oamaru

A lovely bush walk took me to a reserve above Oamaru where I took this photo of Oamaru. You can see the big promontory called Cape Wanbrow over there above the harbour, the cupola of the Basilica , and various churches all of which have featured in my photos.

Three good things:
1. Toast and peanut butter for breakfast (my favourite)
2. The cat decides she really loves us (an after find of cat sick on the outside step told us she was sorry)
3. John pushed a button by accident on the remote and behold, 7 speakers came into effect!
Very pretty love the sepia processing

I love the sepia processing -- it reminds me of an old post card of Kaikura I found in a box of family photos.

Your TGT are very important daily things....I also had toast & apricot jam this morning, haven't had it for absolutely ages but couldn't resist! Peanut butter is not for me though!
A lovely birds eye view of your home town...I didn't realise it was a sea side town magiemae..knew it was on the coastal area but you have a harbour, how lovely!

@nana2r too many buttons and he doesn't know which, Carren! I can work it out though from the main box.

@chard it is too snug, Richard - there is a continual back up of silt at the entrance and now no big boats can get in and the small fishing boats can only exit and return at hight tide!

@happypat the harbour holds many wonderful opportunities for photos, Pat! We used to swim in in as a child and they still do!
