I paused here on this seat on the way home. It is a big Oamaru stone wall being part of a terraced garden alongside the main road. My book that I am reading is of interest if you enlarge this photo. This shot has been modified of course - the stonework around me was scratched and dirty.
Three good things:
1. Hail, snow on the foothills and cold winds forecast today but I don't need to go outside.
2. I'm going to find a Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire movie to watch on uTube.
3. The cat is looking smug! I wonder why!
Love this shot Maggiemae, the composition and pov are great, and the processing makes it look like a modern painting. And I like the title of the book!
@tonygig thank you Tony! Actually the more I look at at it, the more I like the picture particularly as a very cold snap is passing through at the moment!
@olivetreeann thanks Ann, yes, the under painting is better than watercolour! It's great if you want to paint a scene and don't have the time or patience to do it with brushes and paint!
