Orbit is a black and white cat currently being looked after by the SPCA where I work on Thursdays. He can get out of his cage which has three catches on it, climb up here by the main door to the office, jiggle the door until it releases its catch and hey presto! The door opens. He then has fun in the office by climbing up the venetian blinds, scattering decor all over the floor and attacking other cats!
Three good things:
1. Orbit is not my cat
2. Book club today - lovely afternoon tea to look forward to!
3. Interesting talk to go to tonight in the Public library about a lady who taught me and dozens of others, ballet in the 1950's. A man has written a book about her.
I love these shots of Orbit the escape artist. I've had a number of cats over the years and some of them are very clever! How great that you volunteer at the SPCA! I hope Orbit gets a good home. You might get a chuckle out of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXpjX4l0hRg
@tristansmum Thanks Stephanie! That was great to look at! Orbit tries all the time to get out, every trick he knows but we are working out how to get round it!
That is an amazing houdini of a cat...no wonder he is in the rescue home..no one will be able to keep him in!!
Interesting talk & you might see lots of folk you know from way back!!
@yonnie thanks Yvonne, the first was a challenge as to who could talk the most (not my scene) and the next, got given a free book for my contribution to a small story of my experiences!
That cat needs an award for being so smart - but what a handful he would be!! Perhaps best for someone who is home most of the time. Enjoy your book club, mine is on the 15th of this month.
