Peering down a Pathway by maggiemae

Peering down a Pathway

I did use this word as thats what I did but now seeing it, realise someone might mistake the word for "peeing"! And we don't want that! This intriguing pathway starts at a main road and disappears down this foliage! Its well kept and there is a postbox here, not seen. I like the idea of coming from the home, down this path to see who has sent mail - real mail!

Three good things:
1. The cat has been fed - I don't have to see her face staring at me!
2. I bought a tomato slicer and it squashed my tomato and did not slice
3. I bought a nice sharp knife and its the best!
Like the mystery of what is around the corner.....great find.

LOL that's exactly the word I saw when I first glanced, but I am very, very tired. Lovely shot and find!

@glendq I do like this idea but unfortunately the enormous trucks rumble past this place!

Looks like the path to a private hideaway. Nice capture.
March 6th, 2014
Haha! That's exactly what I thought it read, looking at this without my glasses!! Like the mysticism of this shot Maggie.

Lovely capture of this secluded pathway.

It looks just a little like a path from a fairy tale

LOL, the lighting is nice Maggiemae
March 6th, 2014
Lovely lighting
March 6th, 2014
Sure gives privacy to the home-owner too! Watch your thumbs on that knife!

Oh, Maggiemae. You have caused me to laugh so much this morning . The description of your photo at the beginning is hysterical. Your three good thing are equally funny. Your image is beautifully mysterious and you should tag it for the weekly theme.

This is the most charming path and I love the lighting & vignette framing. Your 3 "things" are always so funny :-)
March 6th, 2014
@grammyn thanks Katy! Have done that - so many "themes" etc, I can't keep up!
March 6th, 2014
@maggiemae I know what yo mean! Sometimes I write down the ones I sm interested in and their ending dates to keep track of them all!
March 6th, 2014
Beautiful path and light. This is such a charming photo, lol to your words!
March 6th, 2014
Looks enchanted to me. Who lives beyond that door? Hmmm....
March 6th, 2014
Such a lovely shot--I really like the light. (And I'm still laughing about the "peeing" as opposed to peering ; )
March 6th, 2014
Lovely shot. I saw this photo early in the morning and I initally thought it read "Peeing down a pathway". I had a laugh about this.

I like pictures like this, which make me wonder where a path leads--they provide such "scope for the imagination" as Anne of Green gables would say.
March 7th, 2014
@tristansmum Did she say this? I always knew Anne was the best!
March 7th, 2014
@maggiemae Yes, it was a phrase she often used--so glad you know Anne over on the other side of the world!

i imagine a pathway to "the secret garden" (i love that story/book) and the children meeting in there to take care of the garden.

funny about the tomato slice, perhaps the tomato was too ripe anyway?
March 7th, 2014
@summerfield Thats a nice idea - secret garden! Yes, the tomato was far to ripe! Squishy squashi!
March 7th, 2014
funny, I read peeing down the pathway
March 7th, 2014
I find such pathways fascinating! Where do they lead to? What lies ahead?
March 8th, 2014
@congaree I just wish it was a public pathway, John!
March 8th, 2014
