Trying for silhouettes, one has to have the light behind so I thought the sun would be the brightest. Its not perfect and I really want a full outline but will keep trying. This is a flamenco pose.
As with all dark photos, it becomes more real on black.
Three good things;
1. A beautiful warm day enabled me to get the lawns done.
2. Watched a great film, "The Pursuit of Happyness"
3. Silverbeet tart with cottage cheese in it.
@chard Right with the timer! John actually helped - I needed to get my hands right in front of the sun and he said get your shadow lining up directly with the camera!
FABULOUS selfie. Love the lighting, the shadows, the silhouette.....excellent. I also loved that movie "Pursuit of Happyness" and have the DVD that I never tire of watching. This is a fav!

Great shot- you nailed the silhouette! I like it that you don't see the whole outline- it allows your mind to fill in the details and you become more a part of the picture that way. Good job!
