My peaceful scene by maggiemae

My peaceful scene

I need to remember this scene to quieten my busy mind. In parts of the world there are areas where there are many lakes and this area of Central Otago in NZ is one of them. This one was man-made when a dam was built further down the river.

Three good things:
1. Finding gluten free products for a gluten free lady staying.
2. Glad she eats meat.
3. Good outcome with a son who wants to control!
This is a beautiful peaceful scene with the autumn colors reflected in the water and the nice composition.

Nice shot. Looks like a great place to clear the mind. Everyone needs their own private haven where they can relax and just be. You have a nice one.

@prttblues @digitalrn I wish I had been able to do this but we were driving through! I was lucky that John could stop the car!

Peaceful indeed. Fav for composition stretching out into the horizon and the bits of autumn shades that add to the color. And love that smooth water with the soft reflections.

Love that sort of V in the water of reflection & those two autumnal trees are so vivid.
I think you need a quieter spell for a while too......you have been all over the place...time you bedded down for the winter perhaps? Visitors too.....these kids want slapping down sometimes hey!

What is life if full of care you have no time to stand and stare... :0)

@happypat I can't slap down a 42 year old, Pat! We have difficulties - or I do in putting up with his lack of respect. Will be beautifully quiet in 2 days!

@judithg now who wrote that, Judith - I bet you don't have difficulty in remembering these quotes but I do love quotes.
