Country Scene

The lens baby photos remind me really of Tilt shift which is what this photo has. John was testing his iPad as a GPS so I drove 10 minutes out of town to this view while he listened to a very polite lady.

Three Good Things:
1. A lovely winter's walk down the Cycle Trail with the sun on my back.
2. Getting on top of the accounts.
3. A neat hat that I bought with feathers and flowers.
Very cool effect, Maggiemae!!

What I love about NZ is that you still have so many green trees in the middle of winter.......all those conifer types look wonderful. I was amazed how green you are in the cold months. We are brown & bare in the winter & sometimes you are brown & bare in the summer.
I like your tilt shift ...works as good as lens baby! Wish I was on top of the accounts!

Love the use of the tilt-shift in this, and yes, there is a similarity to the Lensbaby pictures I`ve seen. This picture is especially beautiful and interesting, I think, as it looks as though something other-worldly has become mixed up with the everyday. I think Lewis Carroll might have liked this. Anyway, it`s a fav for me. And thanks, Maggiemae, for your appreciation of my catch-up commenting recently.

Lovely country setting. Love the big tree.

Pretty scene! Yes, I agree with you. I don't see what all the "Lensbaby" fuss is about. It reminds me of tilt-shift and appears a bit gimmicky. But on the other hand, I've also seen some really pretty pictures using it, so in the end it's really a nice effect if you know when to use it. Can't wait to see the selfie with the new hat.

Nice effects in this one.

I am going to look into Lensbabies. Yours is the second one I came across. Do they normally blur the image. The other photo was blurry too.

@skipt07 I don't have a lens baby lens, Skip but used the tilt-shift to create this shot. Its a bit the same effect really!

@olivetreeann I agree that some of the lensbaby photos are really pretty but maybe the same effect might be created by Tilt-shift! I don't know!

Very lovely scene. Cool processing. I have no clue what tilt shift or lens baby is. I am not a processing pro. Cool effect though.

Light and bright - some lovely fresh lemony tints add spice and sparkle to this view.

@snaphappi there were some distant mountains in this view but my exposure choice didn't pick them up! I like the word, 'lemon'!
