Be for Bee by maggiemae

Be for Bee

Thought the day would be a disaster photo day as I couldn't be bothered doing anything. Trying to get better without antibiotics.

However some little bees were diving in and out of the rhododendrons so I stuck my camera inside one and snapped without even focusing.

Three good things:
1. I feel much better
2. Fish and chips for tea which included mussels
3. An elegant Foreign type cat which has taken to hanging around the property was given a yowling from our cat (but was not bothered)
Great shot, I really like this. Fish & Chips for us tonight - it will include mussels and at least one paua fritter!

@kwind Thanks for your words, Madame K! It reminded me of the phrase, "light at the end of the tunnel' which I am seeing!

glad you're feeling better. great macro. the flower seems to glow and that reflected on to the bee's wings. wonderful!

Actually this has come out rather well because even though the bee is being rather mysterious, I love the way the light shines through the back of the flower showing up the beautiful colours and spongy textures of the petals.

@snaphappi I think the bee fell down backwards into this flower and is still working out why its there!

This works remarkably well maggiemae....the wings are beautifully outlined by that little hole of sunlight. Fish & chips will put hairs on your chest as we say over here!

@happypat Thank you Pat - not sure I want the "hair' but the 'air" would be good- just feel I'm not getting the amount of oxygen I need (or don't need 'cause I'm doing nothing)
