This place is where we had book club today and is a beautiful property with tended gardens, even a large pond with white ducks and a fountain!
Three good things:
1. My books to comment on were on my MacbookAir and my only comment was that the battery power ruled my reading!
2. Just further on from this house on the cliff, the road has slipped into the sea and is down to one lane! The good thing is that I didn't have to drive down it to get here.
3. Another wine tasting has been postponed till Friday night - its at our house! All because John filled in a form!
I like Johns form filling in......hope the wine is free! Beautiful venue for your book club......the vegetation round the house is very varied & the red roof stands out really sharply.....interesting place to go.....you are right re the battery too!
Looks like a beautiful place with a view. I'd be worried about the roads though. Hope the wine tasting goes well - is it free? I guess you have to order stuff. We found the vineyards pricey when we were in NZ.
@busylady Its probably a soft sell thing - you are expected to buy and go on a customer list. NZ wines are hugely expensive we have decided after our European sojourn!
Looks so pretty! I would love to fall asleep listening to the ocean waves each night. But I don't think I'd be too excited about the storms that blow in off the ocean!
What a great shot of such a beautiful place. I love all the detail you captured including those beautiful trees and that rooftop. Sounds like a really fun time. I guess John may be not filling out forms in the future. Now I understand about the wine tasting.
I might be driving through Oamaru on the 3rd November. I think that day I'll be driving from Dunedin to Christchurch. My email is lesley_chisholm@yahoo.com if you want to email with yours. We can keep in touch and hopefully stop by for a visit!
