This is a shot between the facades of two great buildings in Oamaru. Very classical.
Three good things;
1. The coffee bar was next door where they had made little doughnuts with jam and a creamy filling.
2. Put some gypsophila seeds in a large pot.
3. Lost an auction for a blender but just as well.
@frantic It is in my home town, Oamaru, NZ, Frances. Oamaru has a wonderful collection of old buildings created in this classical fashion as Oamaru Stone lends itself to such construction!
Wow, what a beautiful shot, Maggiemae. I love all the detail you captured. FAV Your doughnuts sound delicious. I picked up my favorite at our grocer today and had a sweet afternoon snack.
Have got behind with being so busy & nearly missed this classic beauty....you live in a very elegant town maggimae.......a great veiw through the pillars. I love an auction & have to force myself to stop!
@summerfield I did post a similar one a year or so ago- you have a good memory. It wasn't the BNZ but the ANZ (previously National Bank. The old photo was with an old camera so I thought I would see how good the new one is!
