Roll me over... by maggiemae

Roll me over...

....in the Clover! This is before I mowed it. A sea of flowers.

Three good things;
1. Managed to extricate myself over saying something with the wrong meaning three times on line.
2. Skype to son Shaun in the British Virgin Islands.
3. Found a recipe for long lasting salad that I'd lost.
Nice low pov!

Certainly is a sea of flowers, looks so pretty. Lovely angle, shows off those bushes at the back. Lovely coloured flowers on them., maybe roses? It does seem strange to see your garden in full blossom while we are into winter mode.

I know when it is clover season around here, the clover grows like crazy even of nothing else does! Great DoF!
December 19th, 2014
@jennywren Yes they are roses, Jen - doing well this year. John prunes them with a hedge cutter!

You need s few cows on that clover maggiemae.....cows love clover & it makes good rich milk! I saw you squirming on FB.....I can never get the words right sometimes either but I knew exactly what you meant!
You have some amazing shrubs there!
December 19th, 2014
@happypat You've noticed my No1 today! That was not the only one! This clover is only 1inch high, doubt if the cows could get their lips round it!

just a wonderful shot maggie and a great idea for the title
December 19th, 2014
@maggiemae indeed I did & I knew all about it!

What a beautiful shot of your lovely garden Maggiemae , Even the clover looks beautiful !! So envious of your gorgeous flowering shrubs while we are in the dormant winter mode and no colour to brighten the gardens !
December 19th, 2014
The rabbits that live in my woods would LOVE your yard!! Cool take.
December 20th, 2014
@sailingmusic Do rabbits like clover? If so, I won't yell that I've got clover out too loud!
December 20th, 2014
Beautiful shot. Great perspective. Your photo makes me long for summer.
December 20th, 2014
that will be covered in snow here in a few weeks.
December 20th, 2014
A lovely sight. Things are pretty grey here, most of the snow from our recent storm having gone. It's consoling to think that Sunday is our shortest day of the year, and on Monday we sill start to get closer to the sun again.

@tristansmum I quite like this day too on our side of the planet - it is going to get lighter, later! Not at blooming 5.30am!
December 20th, 2014
It's beautiful, it's almost a pity to have to loan it ;) you seem to have a big garden !

Lovely point of view and enhancement of color! Well done!
December 20th, 2014

@maggiemae oups ! Yes ;)
December 20th, 2014
@maggiemae I have just watched the film about Burt Monroe on TV. What a character he was and what an achievement!! I missed the beginning so I must see if I can find a copy of the film so that I can see it all. If it wasn't exaggerated like they do sometimes in films Burt was larger than life and a very brave man!!

Great point of view. And interesting perspective.
December 20th, 2014
It's some years since I sang that!!! Makes me smile!
