Our smoothie this morning had 1 cup of raspberries and 1 cup of strawberries, straight from the garden! Absolutely divine!
Three good things;
1. I've found "notifications' on 365 to be an equally pleasurable experience - like a bit of a conversation with someone! Bit disappointed when I find my name in with a dozen or so others then just a thank you particularly when I have asked a question! (gentle hint?)
2. Got some accounts done which always gives me a headache but good to get behind me.
3. Saw Mark Wahlberg whom John met over in the States on a TV movie - don't think he's that flash and the movie was boring with lots of swearing.
Ooooh !! yummy -- a healthy start to the day-- a way we all should start the day after the over-indulging over The Christmas period --why do we do it every year --don't we ever learn !!
if i'm a spy and the enemy nabs me, they would have to make me watch a mark wahlberg movie to make me talk. two minutes into the movie, they'd get all the information from me. :-) wonderful capture of your berry nice drink. healthy and delicious.
Those sound delicious too! It seemed like there were a lot of peppers but remember, they get cut in half, so that doubles what you put on the pan. And yes, the smell when they were cooking was delish!!
I do fancy one of these smoothies, I have never tasted one but if you have lots of fruit in the garden it must be a wonderful way of having your five a day! You are so good in NZ of growing & utilising every fruit you grow, I am alwYs impressed! I do hope it's not me guilty of # 1.....I feel I have been very lax in my thank hous lately....to be honest I don't seem to have had a minute while Alex is here!
Glad you liked the smoothies. They look yummy. I'm a fan of strawberries. I hate it when I get a notification and I'm in a mass comment. I like to individually reply even if it's in a single window like this. I always take the time to answer each personally and if a question is asked, I answer it. I am going to guess the Mark Wahlberg movie you saw was "Shooter". Did I get it right?

That looks absolutely delicious!! Yummmm...... I need to get back to making smoothies in the morning, but it has been cold here lately, and warm oatmeal sounds so much better! I do keep fruit in the freezer for these, but fresh is always better. I will have to check that Sunbeam, but I have had my eye on a juicer by Breville for a while now. BTW, the first movie I ever saw MW in he was a porn star!!
Your smoothie looks delicious, Maggiemae. I will have to remember to use strawberries and raspberries and plant some too so I can have fresh as well. I hope I have not done that and not answered a question. I looked at my post today and saw quite a few comments and could not bring myself to clustering them all together. What bothers me is that if someone favs a photo, a lot of the time it is only in email and not in their comment so I do not say thank you as I comment back without looking at my emails and notifications. I worked on bookkeeping today to close out one year and start a new one. Tedious but has to be done. FAV wish I could take a glass from your photo.
@darsphotos I think it is more important to comment on the person's photo than to thank them actually! We also can't be expected to answer every question as one forgets or is so busy you can't return a comment I just like to look at my notifications although they do take time to open and close etc. When I get the fibre broadband installed, it will be instant, I expect!
