Flowers from Africa (I'm kidding!) by maggiemae

Flowers from Africa (I'm kidding!)

One either waits for a photo opportunity to arrive or makes the opportunity. I seem to have photographed everything within sight and don’t want to duplicate. I did find some hydrangeas surviving over in the deepest darkest of Africa and put them in a nice vase that was given to me. I would have preferred one that had more artful significance but will have to go to a second hand shop for one of these!

Three good things:
1, Only 3 days to go before Sadie gets to go into our garage!
2. I do enjoy what my fellow NZ re’s put up on 365! I think they are more than just everyday photos.
3. John turned off all his loud and intrusive reminders - “turn off hot water”, pay…. $…. today! Don’t know how he stood it! Yes, we turn off our hot water at night - its a heat pump that heats our water and we save a lot of money. At times he forgets to turn it back on in spite of the verbal reminders, and I have to wait 15 mins for a shower!
nice arrangement, lighting, and colour

Your #3 good thing made me laugh. Even though we are retired except for B&B Harry has his a,arm going off at 6am ...sometimes a little before .....bad enough when he is well but just pointless when he is not fit. I tell him to turn it off specially as he complains he can't sleep....it has been off for the last three days!
Love the softness of these flowers The different colours are most unusual.

@happypat Thanks Pat - the green ones were sort of unripe if you can describe a flower like that. Harry might like to keep his alarm off now - you might be lucky!
