Raining and cold out there but no snow unlike other areas which have had heaps! This photo was originally taken of a bush with another bush in front of it making blurs. Then I turned it monochrome.
Three good things
1. Our first tui arrived in a tree just beside our patio and sang beautifully. Didn’t stay but it will probably come back!
2. Spent a lovely day by the fire watching “Andre Rieu in Dublin” Music was so beautiful, it brought tears and even John enjoyed it!
3. Just about finished knitting a jersey - only taken 2 years!
You are building your own "voice". I picked this as yours before I read your name. Its a beautiful piece of processing Maggiemae. Keep warm. With the cold weather you should have plenty of time to experiment with your processing techniques.
Not your usual style maggiemae but your ingenious photograph works so well....really pretty & the lovely 'pearls' just shine beautifully! Your winter day sounds just perfect, I would be very happy with a day spent like that!
I thought this was a beautiful hat at first then a wedding cake! Fab processing to achieve thus lovely image! Keep warm and please let me see a photo of your tui. Such a beautiful bird and you are so lucky to have this bird visiting your garden!
@pamknowler He sat in our magnolia tree which has tons of black-green and glossy leaves! Its going to be difficult unless he comes out to the honeyed bread I have put out! Thats if any is left - the silvereyes and the sparrows and finches get it finished in a few hours!
I first thought it was a lace detail of a wedding dress or something very romantic....I still have the feeling that your processing is very romantic... Very well done!
