Back in the big city we found internet to be so slow - 5 mins to load one comment that we consulted the motel manager who put us into another unit in a different place and the result was pleasing.
The Big Boys Toys was on and I wandered over there to look around finding this Indian motorbike that was going to be auctioned off in Trademe in a couple of weeks finishing at the Burt Munro Challenge in Invercargill. I gave it a bit more impetus - wonder if they would like my photo to put on Trademe! John signed the bike with a gold pen.
Three good things;
1. Found a massager that was in the show and boy, was it good! Deep tissue massage and I’m going to buy it!
2. Watching “As Time Goes By” with Judi Dench. A favourite program!
3. Being so tired, your eyelids close of their own accord!
"wall of death"??? i saw an indian bike the other day, admiring it and thinking of you, too late to realize i should've taken a photo. duh me! cool processing!
Slacking already maggiemae....you should be on top Rev in the big city! Joking as I'm sure all this traveling is quite tiring. The massager sounds just the job! Your photo is wonderful showing off the best of this lovely bike & I can see John's signature .....I would show them your photo tomorrow. Is this the second one auctioned off?
I like what you've done and I'm sure they would love your photo for Trade Me. It'll bring in way more bids!! Sounds like you're having fun in the big city!
@kiwichick they did ask me to send it to the Trademe site! We will see. One doesn't have fun in the big city, Lesley! Its more like trying to stop swearing all the time!
Great shot! Reminds me of when my Dad owned an Indian before I was born. Guess it was in the '40's when he lived in San Francisco. Bet he rode that bike like a bat out of hell up and down those hills. They opened an Indian motorcycle store here in San Diego, CA last year. Had to visit. Awesome bikes in there. I don't ride. Just like to admire.
If I was a person shopping on Trademe this would definitely pique my curiosity! Although I don't know whether the "Wall of Death" would be appealing. Somehow I think when you buy a fast bike you expect to ride it more than once.
