Enigma by maggiemae

Enigma

Went up the road to investigate some special lounge chairs that have a good reputation and where one could sink into absolute anonymity or oblivion! Perhaps wake up when breakfast is served?
I bought one and the photo will be posted.

Three good things:
1. This was a sculpture in a nearby public garden in Timaru. I have not been able to find out abut it but would think could be entitled, (what?) any suggestions? It is obviously a mother holding her baby close.
2. A nice spell of rain made the farmers smile
3. Bought a beautiful merino beanie for my Canadian DIL who is preparing for a Toronto winter!
Very interesting sculpture

enigma is a good title, because we really can't see what it is holding. if it is indeed her baby, why the protective stance? enigma indeed. very nice!

I would call it Safe, especially if it is holding a baby

I didn't see the baby and thought it looked like me after I stand on the scales!

Great shot with wonderful light and shadows!

I like the rippled hair in this. So far, the Toronto winter (still late fall as it hasn't actually started yet) is proving to be unusually mild. I'd like some snow for photographic purposes.

Beautiful sculpture, but there is sadness there more than affection!

@panthora Your words bring another feeling here - perhaps she has lost her baby!
