The last day of 2016.
I was sitting still in the shadows, looking to my left where the new year is about to reveal itself!
Actually all that was revealed was a few spiders and the fact that I could not uncross my legs to get up!
Three good things:
1. Didn’t have to leave the property today… I closed our gates which I don’t do often! Open next year.
2. I put my broken Xmas tart bits on top of an ice-cream for our last meal. I do love Danish Waffle cones!
3. If I don’t last till midnight, I do wish all my most greatest friends on 365 a very happy and healthful 2016!
Thanks for sharing your photos this year. Three good things made me smile most of the times. Thanks! You're already in 2016 we still wait for 2016. Two hours to go. A very happy and blessed 2016!
Such a lovely shady spot to sit and think about what has been and what will be. Looking forward to seeing all your fantastic photos in 2016 and reading your 3 good things. Happy New Year.
Nicely done, and a happy new year to you too. I also enjoy reading your 3 good things and am always impressed when you keep carrying on with it on days that perhaps are not so good.
Ha ha ! what a gorgeous place for little ELF Maggie , to sit and think and wait for the New Year to arrive ! All the best of health and Happiness to you and John in the New Year of 2016 ;-) :-)
A beautiful sunlit moment that is spectacular to see on this dull rainy day for me! I most surely will be sleeping by the time midnight comes around where we live and so I'll accept your good wishes now for a Happy New Year and extend mine to you as well!
Giggle, giggle. I didn't notice the little elf at first until you started talking about uncrossing legs. Have really enjoyed your 2015 project and the three good things you find in your day. Happy New Year. Hope 2016 is kind to you.
Looks like a lovely place to sit and contemplate. All the best to you for 2016. I have enjoyed your creativity and commentary, hope it continues into the new year.
Very nice way to end the year, Maggiemae! I will miss your beautiful photos, and I wish you the very best in the coming year! Pull those gates wide open!!
You put a smile on my face with your last of three good things. And actually it is very true. As I was writing these comments I decided to have another look at this picture and - believe it or not - noticed the selfie in it. No wonder you couldn't uncross your legs. Probably I wouldn't have managed to cross them in the first place, but I don't care - life is beautiful and so is this image. Happy new year to you too.
I am far too late wishing you & John a Happy New Year, you are already on the second day so I am miles behind! Anyway I will add our wishes for a very Happy New Year to you & John! I think you have travelled so many miles in 2015 you will like sitting in that shady corner for a bit! Missed you to start with so you are camaflouged well & completely in elf character, hope John was on hand to pull you up!
There is something very nurturing about shutting up the house and staying in. Every evening I enjoy the moment when i close the front room curtains on the outside world! Happy New Year!
