This could be called nature but man has laid a hand on these trees, pruning them to grow straight and true. So not for the nature challenge on FB
Three good things:
1. Met lots of other wonderful vintage cars at a little village called Lawrence. A place of vintage everything but the clothes shop didn't have a paisley shirt for John's '60s costume.
2. Coffee at the Merc Dealers in the city where Sadie got a proper clean.
3. Temperatures were warm enough to sit outside with a book at our destination - an old stone inn with accommodation.
I love this, the moodiness and the symmetry. I presume pine forest, they are always slightly spooky as so little lives in them and this captures that feeling.
They might be helped a wee bit to keep on the straight & narrow but I really like the neatness of these trees. I wouldn't like to venture any further into that wood though thank you very much!
@happypat Its funny people saying they are nervous, Pat! To me when seen this forest, it made me want to skip into the forest by myself and breath in the pine smell!
This has lots of atmosphere - it would work well in B&W I think. Paisley shirts! I remember one that I had in 1962, pale blue with a 2.5 inch stand tabbed collar that nearly strangled me! Good luck with the search.
