An Abundance

Thanks for those who commented on my ‘big tent’ which was not inspirational and more of a diary photo.

This is one too - our grapevines have had the best result ever! John’s been eating non stop, giving huge bags away and still there are tons! A bit too bitter for me but I can smell some of the really ripe ones. Might give it a try if I can organise my face right!

Three good things/times:
1. Um….. I managed to put on a good face after all day trying to work out what is happening on our accounts!
2. The Big Race is still on - 3 days and the leader has the winning line in his sight - a huge kayak paddle down the east coast of the South Island. The rest are days behind.!
3. My Italian parsley is coming away!
A great edit on your grapes shot ! I always throw a few grapes in my salads they add an extra flavour ! I think I would be joining John in feasting on the grapes !

These look amazing. I have no luck growing grapes. The birds used to get ours which grew on the allotment so I've taken out the vines and I now grow raspberries instead.

@busylady In the past we have had no luck with grapes but this year is amazing. We also put in raspberries but they have grown to be so invasive we have had to poison them!

Such beautiful grapes. ! Such a beautiful picture of them. You aren't going to make jam or jelly out of them?
April 6th, 2016
@grammyn We hardly eat any jelly or jams, Katy! I could stick them in a bucket and climb in with bare feet, though?
